Mukesh Ambani's owned Jio has been on the front seat in creating digital India since its commencement. Jio completely changed the data scenario in India which allowed a lot of talent to come out. It has immensely disrupted the gaming sector which was overshadowed for very long because of limited data availability in India.

After releasing "Jio fibre" it's a no-brainer that Jio is eyeing in the Indian Gaming sector. Now let's check what are the possibilities that Jio can come up with, which will boost the gaming industry in India.

Live Streaming Service

With a lack of dedicated streaming service in India like Twitch, Indian gamers are struggling to make a name for themselves by streaming on Youtube and Facebook.

Creating a dedicated streaming service in India will clearly be an added advantage for gamers. With Twitch still mousy to launch Twitch Prime in India it might be a great time to launch something like this.

Telecast Esports matches

Telecasting Esports matches has just begun in India. Hotstar and MTV have paved their ways to telecast Esports matches.

Looking at the Reliance Industries recent fundraising rounds, Intel Capital is joining a roster of dozen investors including Facebook, KKR, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, taking the total financing to Rs 1,17,588.45 crore for just a shade over 25% holding. The idea behind all this is making cutting edge technology which could help Jio Platforms' future growth.

It will be interesting to see how and when Jio will announce its ingress in the Gaming industry.
